A migration certificate is mandatory if any student takes admission from one university to another university. One may have the migration certificate from the college/ university he/she had studied.
This migration certificate declares that the student was a student of that university. He/she is now not a student of the concerned university anymore. No student can be a student of more than a university at a time.
So, when he/ she takes admission to another university, he/she needs to submit the migration certificate to the present university where he/she is studying now. To take a migration certificate from the university where he/ she studied earlier, he/ she needs to write an application for a migration certificate.
