Subject: Hazards of the random use of plastic.
Respected Sir,
I would be gratified if you allow me to ventilate my view on the problem/danger of random use of plastic through the columns of your esteemed daily.
Nowadays, plastic has become part and parcel of our life. Plastic bags and articles have flooded the market. When plastic was first introduced, we lapped them up avidly, as they are handy and easily portable. But with the passage of time, we realize their evil effect.
Plastic materials neither decompose nor perish. When they are burnt down, the smoke vitiates the atmosphere. Most of these plastic articles get drained and choked. They also pollute the land and spoil fertility.
Though the government has imposed a ban on the use of plastic bags, the use of plastic neither stops nor slows down. Law alone can’t go far. Mass consciousness is a must.
Hence, we appeal to people to pause and ponder over the foul effect of the use of plastics and take action immediate action to at least control the use of plastic for ourselves only.
Yours faithfully,
Your Fall Name

Sub: Harmful effects of the use of plastic bags and plastic cups
Sir.
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to ventilate my views on the imminent danger caused by the use of plastics in our everyday life.
No doubt, modern technology has brought much convenience and comfort to our daily life. But it has introduced new hazards. Plastic bags and plastic cups are indeed light, convenient, and cheap. On the contrary, they pose serious threats to ecological balance and human health.
Because they are not biodegradable. Moreover, they retard and, in many cases, entirely stop the flow of waste materials in the underground drainage system. As a result, roads remain water-logged for days together, particularly during the monsoon. Moreover, if such plastic bags are carelessly thrown on agricultural land, they hamper proper cultivation.
So, I request the authorities to rigorously enforce the laws that have banned the production and use of plastic bags and plastic cups ta save us and the next generation.
Yours truly,
Jagannath Kumar
