Subject: Reckless driving of the buses and mini-buses on roads

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to ventilate my views on the reckless driving of the buses and mini-buses on roads.

These days, journey by buses or mini buses has been awfully perilous. The happy-go-lucky drivers drive their vehicles at break-neck speed. They seem to have no respect for traffic rules. In most cases, road accidents take place on account of reckless driving.

Over-taking is another common factor for drivers. Though there are traffic policemen to control the traffic, they do have no respect for the policemen or the law. They keep standing as statues.

Should we then think that there is an unholy alliance between the police and the erring bus drivers?
